I’m the human behind Twilight Tails Haven, a little slice of love and chaos here in Greece. At 60, I’ve mastered the art of wearing many hats—founder of this sanctuary, artist, writer, and full-time dog snuggler. Life here is as messy as it is magical, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I grew up in the wild beauty of Africa, where the animals and nature totally stole my heart. Fast forward a few decades, and I somehow ended up in Greece, surrounded by wagging tails, paintbrushes, and half-finished stories. My life is a mix of dog hair, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.
Twilight Tails Haven is where I care for elderly and special-needs animals—basically the ones who need a little extra TLC. It’s not all sunshine and belly rubs (okay, there’s a lot of belly rubs), but it’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Every animal here has their quirks, and figuring out what makes them tick is like solving the world’s fluffiest puzzle.
When I’m not knee-deep in dog food or cleaning up after the pack, I’m creating. My art and stories are inspired by the animals and the nature that surround me, and they’re my way of celebrating all the little moments that make life beautiful.

I’m dedicated to making sure these often-overlooked souls get the love, respect, and care they deserve. It’s not just about meeting their basic needs—I focus on their whole well-being. From medical care to emotional support, and even helping them make new friends, every detail is covered.
This is their home, and I do everything I can to make sure it’s a place where they can relax, heal, and enjoy life, surrounded by nature and love, treated as the family they truly are.
To expand Twilight Tails Haven with a new building, enhancing our capacity to embrace and nurture more special needs and elderly animals, thereby creating a world where these cherished beings live with dignity, love, and in harmonious coexistence with nature.
